this was the most fun bike I every owned!
I bought it from charlie the bikemonger when I was chasing a singlespeed frame. Like most times of the year, if you're looking for a Steamroller or Pacer frame, most suppliers in the UK are fresh out, and you have to join a long waiting list for the next shipment.
When I asked Charlie, he said I could have his old one for a pretty good price, including the headset and his trademark stickers ;)
one of these photos is his build based on the frame... the others are various shots of me using and building it...
This bike, and it's not the only bike I have owned to meet this end, unfortunately got ruined when we mounted it to the top of our family wagon and it got driven into a carpark with a low roof!
By then it was already an old friend as I had used it for more than a year to commute to work (Estee Lauder Companies in Swanwick) on, with both a freewheel and fixed.
SAD!
